A Complete Guide to Disneyland Coin Presses including Disneyland and California Adventure.
The collectible souvenir pressed coins, also called elongated coins, are a classic icon of Disneyland and Disney s California Adventure. A pressed coin is created when a coin is squeezed between two rollers, one of which has an engraving on its surface. Currently, there are both penny and quarter press machines at Disneyland and Disney s California Adventure. These pressed coin machines feature designs containing Disney characters, theme parks, attractions and special events. Each machine contains either one, three or four different designs.
The most common coin press features the beloved Mickey Mouse. For example, find a coin press with Mickey on a surfboard at the main entrance to California Adventure, or Baby Mickey on a rocking horse in Mickey s Toontown at Disneyland. Collect all of the Disney characters in a series with Disneyland Coin Presses.
Disney Cast Members have been adding coin presses throughout Walt Disney parks for decades. Can you collect them all? Find all of your favorite Disney characters and take home a piece of the magic.
